Tab Alive! is an awesome new tablature tool that allows you to paste tab into a simple web form and, with the click of a button, immediately view it on a playable guitar-neck interface with all of the following features:

  • Real Guitar Sounds! check out a sample...
    We went to great pains to use actual audio from a real acoustic guitar. No fake, cheesy midi guitar sounds. You even hear occasional string noises!

  • Shows & Plays Common Guitar Techniques!
    You might have seen other applications out there that claim to play tablature only to discover that, even if it doesn't crash when you try to import the tab, it won't play anything but notes. Not to worry, Tab Alive! does! Currently it will play the following:
    • hammer-ons load the sample file and select the hammers section
    • slide-ups load the sample file and select the slides section
    • slide-downs load the sample file and select the slides section
    • pull-offs load the sample file and select the hammers section
    • string bends load the sample file and select the bends section

  • You Control the Flow!
    Unlike most of the tab apps out there that only allow you to play or stop, you can step through the fingerings one at a time, play through each section from start to finish, or select an area to loop and control the speed too!
